A nice place but overpriced

We are disappointed your stay did not meet your expectations and we would like to add comments on the matters you raised.
We would agree with you, under certain circumstances, booking 1 -2 nights is expensive. The circumstances revolve around the way that guests book and we always recommend booking directly with us for the absolute best rates. The cleaning costs are fixed and seem high for short stays but there are no short cuts on this important aspect of our business.
We are pet friendly but with that comes the responsibility on the pet owners to stop any barking and we are more than willing to hear from other guests and alert the owners if this is not happening. Our welcome email outlines very strict criteria around pets staying and barking/noise.
Blue River Apartments were built in the 1970's as 4 individual apartments. Since we purchased the property in 2016 we have made significant improvements and have more works in the pipeline.

More than a Home away from Home ...
Location - Overlooking the Wooli Wooli River. What a View , !!!
Amenities - a very well presented apartment, with everything that a family might need, from a Coffee maker (Aldi brand Pods) to a Junior Scrabble set.
Walk to the Ocean Beach , stroll along the River Front.
Take a bike and ride to the River mouth , great family swimming area.
Only niggle, Kayaks are available for Guests, but they are very heavy so we didn't take advantage of them .
We will return !!
