Book 9 months in advance so that 11 days before departure, our room will be resold.
We receive a Smartbox as a gift, with which we are entitled to a stay of 3 days and two nights.
We book on January 5, 2024 for a stay from September 20 to 22, 2024, we made arrangements in advance and we receive a confirmation by email that I still have!
I contact them on September 8, 2024 by email to find out if they have a cot available so as not to clutter our car unnecessarily as we had more than 9 hours drive with a 6 month old baby at the time of the trip.
I say that my spouse called them in July (always recorded on the phone), asking if the baby was a problem or not. They said no, but nothing else, the conversation stopped there.
They call me after my email, the person debits on the phone, I understand the language but still. I thought they were gonna answer me about the crib. You're not! I am told that I have to change my date of stay (to D-11). I don't understand why, I thought he was the wrong person at first. So I pass him my spouse who is bilingual. I understood, our room was sold without warning! We had laid down our holidays based on this stay. Not being able to shift it, we found ourselves without holidays although they had been booked 9 months in advance! Who can cancel their vacation posed with these employers at D-11?! No one.
My spouse repeatedly asks on the phone when
-they warn us because I remind you that it was we who contacted them, for a basic cot! Quiet on the phone. No answer to give us. They would never have contacted us.
Then there's an e-mail exchange, or I'll express my dissatisfaction, and or I'll ask again when did they intend to warn us that our room had been sold? When we drove nine hours with a baby? That I don't understand how to do that with people. And I would add that I will write a negative opinion about them to warn people.
Their emails started to be threatening! I quote: I have to stop complaining, it's not that bad. I better not write a bad review or they'll ask me for almonds. That I'm just a liar. As I am a fraudster, I pay for one night but ask for two (I have the Smartbox in evidence, it is indeed two nights).
I better think before I write, I have to think then write.
Always this almond thing to talk me out of writing a comment.
"I'm lying, they warned me, it's a fact." I asked in each of my emails, the email with which they warned me, no reply but I am a liar, of course
In order not to lose this Smartbox, and in the interest of honesty (yes too good, too stupid), we cancelled the reservation via the Smartbox app.
Then an e-mail comes from them, or they say to me, "See, you're the one who canceled, not us." The height of the nerve!
After several emails, the very insolent person throughout, tells me, that they would have sent us elsewhere! So that's how they do it, they sell a room already booked 9 months in advance, a Smartbox must surely pay less, in favor of a seminar (which they probably knew about for a long time), they let you do hours and hours of driving and once arrived, they send you elsewhere. What a joke.
When I see negative comments written on different platforms and their responses to those reviews that always start with "the person is lying...."
I think we have to ask ourselves the right questions... who are the liars in there?!
Just mind-blowing and lunar. No excuses at any time, this should have been our son's first vacation...
A minimum would have been to apologize to us!! Forgetting happens, we can understand but now, no.

Wonderful holiday with delicious food
Our conclusion: Highly recommended.

Great holiday property, recommended!
Excellent breakfast with various types of cheese, fruit and jams and an excellent bread of various types.
Also excellent dinner. Although not vegetarian I really enjoyed the cuisine, varied, plentiful and tasty.

Very friendly and entertaining staff. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired: various types of bread and rolls, a huge selection of spreads, cheese (also vegan) and vegan sausage, various types of fruit and yoghurts (also vegan) and much more... Be sure to book half board - the dinner with its 4 courses was super delicious, we were surprised every evening with great new ideas!!
The rooms are very nice and clean.
We'll be happy to come back! :)
