A well-placed Inn is all you need for an active traveller.

Nice big Inn with a very good location. A large hall, on the same floor there is a shop and a pharmacy. There is a swimming pool and a spa , but it was not possible to visit, just not enough time. Breakfast is available in the restaurant on the ground floor using a buffet system, very varied. It's just not realistic to try anything. There are coffee machines. Since the hotel stays a large number of excursion groups that leave at the same time, there are periodic queues for food. The room is not big, but comfortable enough. There's everything but air conditioning. In the heat, when it's over 30 degrees outside, sleep was stuffy. And another downside is the lights in the hallway that came on at night from the motion sensor. Other than that, I loved it, the staff are polite and sympathetic, and would love to stay here again.

Great hotel!

Great hotel, don't pick on :-)
It was all right!
The location is great! NOT over the road like chain hotels. Away from the noise, but very close to the waterfront, Upper City, Metro, Shopping Center.
Clean, quick check-in. An atmosphere of kindness, resilience, calm.
Noise insulation is great! It's very important to me.
The quick reaction and the decision of the administrator-maid-electrician on the issue of the hum in the flap was heartening. Replaced quickly.

Yeah, there's no kettle and no hygiene kit, and no shampoo from the dispenser. It's just accepting and enjoying life.
The beds are wide and comfortable. The mattresses are moderately rigid, without failure. Two pillows and two blankets each.
It was warm.

Breakfast is a very generous buffet! (on the 1st floor)

Yeah, maybe there'll be a few people before you - the national teams stay there, for example. But it's very fast. Why wait in line? You can take something like this by going around the others (I watched from the sidelines while we ate). It's all very calm, the food is served all the time, it doesn't run out. Everybody has enough. The waiters are polite and courteous.
The pool is clean. Saunas too - 3 booths with different temperatures - this from morning to lunch is included in the price.
All in all - it was nice! We plan to visit again!

I want to say a huge thank you for the hospitality, excellent service and high quality of service in the hotel Belarus. I can especially mention the clean rooms, delicious breakfasts, friendly and professional staff. I especially want to mention the receptionist - Anna (worked on 17.11.24), I express my great gratitude to her! After visiting the hotel Belarus is a very pleasant impression and I want to return more, and I will gladly recommend you to friends and colleagues.

A good central location to begin a journey

I have stayed here before and it's a clean, safe bet for first trips to the capital. A (now) western level of comfort and all the services are there. Cafe and lobby bar have very affordable treats, for example. Breakfast is varied and decent, very efficiently cleared tables and topped-up food areas.
The rooms are modern, clean and the views are likely the best in the capital - ask for a high floor. The only annoying things are the centrally controlled AC and only half-openable windows. The latter undertsndable, but still annoying for photos!
Being an old Soviet hotel, you kinda have to expect the brown water - It's something I see a lot. But for lesser used rooms, housekeeping need to be going in and running the water for a good five minutes every now and then - to save guests getting a shock. For those unfamiliar with the region, it can be concerning.
Book ahead for a better price. They'll take cash or card (Apple Pay/UK Visa Debit working at this time)

Cozy place in the middle of town.

Overall, I liked the hotel. We were given a room on the 19th floor, a wonderful view. I liked the ground floor mini-water park. And since we went to Belarus with a travel agency, we were entitled to two hours at any time for free. So we visited this place in the evening, bathed, rolled down the slide, brought tea with us, sat down, drank it after the sauna. Breakfasts were wonderful, food varied.
One minus. If the room is cheapest - 190 rubles, then there are no facilities, not even toothbrushes. Okay, when there's no bathrobes, they're usually more expensive in rooms, but brushes!
