Nice

Econolodge is a good place to stay.
The hotel is just as the hotel pictures show.
Beds are comfortable.
Room was clean, which is most important in my opinion. I parked right outside the room. It was quiet. The grounds were clean.
I would recommend Econolodge.

Highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is updated and refurbished. Bed comfortable, chair and desk in room. Lots of hot water. Continental breakfast offers boiled egg, fresh fruit, waffle iron, choice of 3 cereals and several types of bread. The Hotel is very quiet. Well located within a block of waterfront. We did not eat at the restaurant on-site just because we wanted to eat outdoors on a warm summer evening.

Bad experience

Pension well located, but unfortunately the rooms are outdated. Air conditioning that makes more noise than fresh air. Hair dryer not functional in the bedroom. In short, a painful night in the heat.
I'm not going back.

Non-existent service

I had a reservation for June 22, 2024 I arrive at the counter I present myself wonder if I have a reservation I tell him yes find the reservation and tell me that the total amount of 177.00 gives me room number so when I see 200 I tell him impossible handicapped and impossible to climb above then tells me that for a room downstairs I will have to pay 23.00 surplus I was very insulting to be told his so I took my money back and I have been elsewhere where I have room 1st floor without asking finished with me Econo Lodge and also did not speak French even understand.

The Best Bargain in a Decade!

When you see a property priced at under $100 (actually under $80) you get a bit worried that it may not be comfortable or clean. Just the opposite here! This Econo-Lodge is at a relatively quiet corner with a small town vibe nearby. Clean? Yes. Comfortable? Yes. Two Queens, nice linens and pillows. A/C and an opening window. Updated bathroom. Wi-Fi. We asked for first floor and were just a few metres from the lobby and breakfast room. Through a connecting door from there and you are in the very good "Chatters Pub and Eatery". This was advertised as a Three Star property and it certainly was. No, not the Ritz but it can stand out as what the chain identifies: An Economic Lodging. Nice reception by the owner, breakfast choices a bit upscale, easy parking at the door. And a nice smile when leaving. Our rating of Five Stars (or Circles) is that it meets our expectations and then some at a surprising budget price. We'll be back and have already recommended it to friends.
