Lovely hotel in a Beijing hutong

Loved this charming hotel. The location in the hutong was excellent. We could walk to other hutongs to observe local life. All the Didis we booked drove us right to the front of the hotel, even our airport transfer van.
The service was excellent. Our room's toilet had a bidet that didn't work and the front desk sent a workman immediately. He checked and said it needed a repair. The front desk changed our room and even gave us an upgrade.
Breakfast was plentiful. Taste was so so.
Free self-service laundromat. 4 washing machines and 4 dryers.

This hotel was a great choice! The check-in process was quick and hassle-free, making for a smooth arrival. The location is good, just a 20 min walk from the subway station, which made exploring the city super convenient. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay. Overall, it’s an excellent option for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and cleanliness. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Great location and very clean

As with much of China, there are not a lot of English speakers, nor signs in English. However, the front desk staff got by very well, and were able to handle all reasonable requests. Breakfast offered a large range, but very few of the items had English signs, so one was not sure what was on offer. The hotel was very clean and all the facilities in the room worked very well. The room was a little smaller on average than we experienced during our stay in China, but it did not have a bathtub. The hotel is located in a quiet hutong, but it was only a short walk Gue jie, and tons of restaurants ranging from inexpensive to high-end. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

This hotel was beautiful! Lovely service, and the courtyard was an oasis among the narrow hutongs. Everything one should want out of a stay in Beijing. My mother was especially impressed at the modernity and cleanliness of the facilities, and really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was also delicious. Joe was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, and made sure we were happy. Much kudos to him and the rest of the staff.
