A great place to spend time away from the Old Town
Clear information about how to reach Villa Marijo should have been provided. There are no convenience stores or restaurants anywhere in the vicinity.

Tremendous experience - owner not to be advised!
Reservation was for THE ENTIRE APARTMENT but, when we arrived, now at night, we found that the lady had rented a bedroom and a bathroom to other guests.
We arrive late in the evening, by motorcycle, after hours of travel. Upon arrival we find a nasty surprise: the lady rented a portion of the apartment to other people, and asked us to do quietly so as not to bother others!
Obviously we protested but, thanks to the fatigue of the motorcycle trip, and with the intention of checking our Reservation well, we settled down to sleep.
And other problems start to come up: being strangers in the facility, we had to sleep with the doors of the rooms locked.
The air conditioner only fits in one room (in the living room converted into a bedroom with a double in the corner). The other room has an old and noisy ceiling fan/lamp (and not the air conditioning, as advertised), and you couldn't sleep even with the window open because it opens to an external staircase leading to the upper floors of the building, where other people were passing who would see you in bed.
By the way, those who slept in this room, at night because of the heat wanted access to the kitchen fridge, but it was necessary to pass by the living room (used as a bedroom) and which, of course, was locked due to the cover presence of other guests. But even we could not use the air conditioner too much: as you can see from the photos, it is placed precisely at the head of the bed and pointed at us (with whatever adjustment we tried). And we couldn't keep the windows open either, because they overlook the balcony shared with the other guests' room.
Contacted the owner, she refused any form of refund (we wanted to leave paying only one night) and even mocked us saying that there was no problem and she always does this: we were the first to complain. So we were forced to stay..
The photos published, however, are extensively retouched because the structure is definitely dated.
The location is finally quite far from the center and on a very steep climb (luckily we were on a motorcycle and the thing, in itself ', did not weigh).
