Vi setter stor pris på din ros for frokosten, som vi er stolte av å tilby i et bredt utvalg for å tilfredsstille alle våre gjesters preferanser. Det er flott å høre at våre rom og den dedikerte servicen fra våre ansatte også bidro til et behagelig opphold for deg.
Vi forstår at det å organisere transport på egen hånd kan være en utfordring når reiseselskaper ikke tilbyr hotellet som en del av sine pakker. Det er godt å høre at du fant en løsning med både rimelig buss og offentlig transport, og vi er glade for at dette ikke påvirket oppholdet ditt negativt. More daytime entertainment needed
Our holiday highlight was hiring electric bikes for a guided tour - via Papagayo Bikes - which you could book via the hotel reception.
Not so good points:
- The bed pillows weren’t great.
- The food in the dinner buffet was badly labelled, which as a vegetarian made me a little anxious about what to choose. For example, the labels weren’t displayed alongside the correct dish, none of the dessert choices were labelled.
- The desserts were all pretty poor - the majority with weird sweet sugary cream. Even the ice cream wasn’t to our taste - it was sweet and cheap tasting.
- There wasn’t enough daytime entertainment- not even one activity per day sadly. Only one yoga class each week, only one Pilates, and a couple of arts classes.
- The in-house animation team had zero presence.

The very best
The wonderful experience starts as you enter the hotel and walk into the sound of monks chanting gently which instantly eases the stress of the long flight and battle through customs.
The hotel is beautifully designed to mimic a traditional Lanzarote village, the entrance being a replica of a church, the reception is in the centre of a volcano and there are lots of different styles of small buildings that contain the hotel rooms which are incredibly comfortable.
The thing that really makes this hotel the best is its people, the staff are happy, smiling, welcoming and helpful, every single one of them, from the receptionists to the cleaners, the pool attendants and the chefs in the restaurant, it has an amazing culture and if every business in the world focussed on this type of behaviour rather than AI the world would be a better place.

Unique and very special hotel
Fabulous layout with great sea views.
Pool areas always had plenty of available sunbeds.
Staff were very helpful and welcoming.
All in all , it was a great relaxing holiday resort.
We will definitely be back soon.

Enjoyable week at this hotel
We had a junior suite as part of the club area and the it was ideal. Two large rooms, large bathroom and shower plus a big terrace with sun beds, bench and table with chairs. Also a fridge and two tvs. A lovely view of the marina. Unlike others, we only tried the Club room on the first day for breakfast and drinks, but found the room depressing with no views. We preferred breakfast at the buffet room overlooking the pool and bought gin and tonic from a shop to make use of our terrace and views. What’s the point of drinks with no view?
The Club pool area was lovely and the heated pool a blessing along with the jacuzzi. The other heated pool for everyone was small.
Food in the buffet was fine, starters and desserts very good and mains variable. Two nights we ate out to have a change. Unfortunately the A La Carte restaurants were not open - several guests were annoyed at this. Staffing seems to be the issue.
We used the Spa and had excellent massages there. Friendly staff.
We wished there had been a bar with a view for pre dinner drinks where guests could gather. Staff were all efficient and friendly, easy access to the marina and its restaurants and shops. Thank you.
