Only needed one night for stay at hospital. Location was great. No problems within room. Noise was controlled. Use it all the time when going to Geisinger in Danville. Checkin was quick registration gentleman was very professional and polite

Filthiest Inn I've Ever Stayed In!

Filthy. We've been staying here on trips from Ohio to East Coast as our 1/2 way point. IN 2011 - 2023 it was fine - not posh but clean. Now, the last two times, the rooms were filthy even the "new" Home Towne Studios" Pictures tell it all. This is our last time here - I'm happy paying double the price for cleanliness. The new owners or management obviously have a low standard of clean. Oh, we had one clothes hangar last time we were here and the manager (man) said "Some rooms don't have any!" - we'll i got that room on this stay!! Got an ironing board but not iron (are we supposed to use my wife curling iron??? )) No ice bucket for ice and the smoke detector is hanging by its wiring and not attacked to the mounting plate! Our LAST TIEM EVER at this Inn. Hampton Inn - here we come!
On a positive note the off shift staff are always nice

Room was clean and inviting. Appeared well maintained. The only issue was an empty body soap bottle in the shower.

Ice cold room never got hot

We were given Room 209. It was freezing cold. Never got warm. The heater didn't even seem to be working. I called the front desk and suggested that the man come and check for himself. He came and said he felt heat. He told us to give it time. We were so cold that we couldn't sleep. Ultimately, with me fearing some medical emergency, I went into the office about 3 AM. There was a woman there at the time. She gave me two options for a room switch and I ultimately chose 219 (I think that was it). When I came back to the office with my selection, she told me she saw that the outside cold air was coming straight into my room. Never again in a hotel/motel without an interior hallway when temps dip way below freezing.

Comfortable, but every time the exhaust fan went on it smelled like cigarette smoke.
