Loved my Stay!

I really enjoyed my stay here! My house was getting fumigated so I decided to stay here since its closer to work and enjoyed almost everything. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They always greeted you upon arrival. The gym, although small, had everything you needed to get a full body workout in. And all of the guests staying here were so pleasant! Below are the highlights:
Room:
1. I had a room with the bathroom tub, I wish I could have had one with just the shower. But the water pressure was great and the temp got very hot (loved it!)
2. The mini fridge and microwave came in handy and both were very clean.
3. Hotel elevator, although there are two, one one was operating which caused a small delay when going up and down.
Complementary Breakfast:
1. Okay no joke, this was one of the best free breakfasts I've ever had! Whoever is in the kitchen loves their job because the food was made with pride! And it was just the basic, eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, waffle maker/batter, but everything was SO delish! I could not tell you why. All I know is I looked forward to the breakfast everyday. And the menu was different every day of my stay which was nice.
Five out of five for this hotel. Even with the little things I wished were different, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Many Broken Items

This hotel like all the other Marriott Hotels I have stayed in within the past 2 years has multiple issues. My husband and I are Titanium Elite members and we have stayed at Marriotts over the last 30 years. This hotel like all of the others has many items that are broken. We stayed 3 nights the elevator was broke, two workout bikes were broke and the sink leaked so bad that there was water soaking all of my things. This is typical of Marriott. I wish we could transfer to Hilton.

I was very disappointed when I checked in. Apparently I did not read the fine print. They wanted a $150.00 deposit which I think is very high. I travel a lot and most are $50.00 sometimes a $100.00 but $150.00 I think is way too much. Also I could not believe this but they charge you for parking. Now I have been charged for parking before but it has always been when staying in a big city. Not when they have a huge parking lot that is only a quarter full in a small city like Tustin. I guess they have to get every penny they can. I will never stay here again. Too many other choices.

The entire team/staff were engaged and extremely nice!! The facilities were very well kept: the room, bathroom, breakfast area, lobby, gym, and laundry room. They even had EV-Go!! Chargers outside the hotel in the parking lot. The hotel is also close to the freeway, which made it even easier to travel anywhere. The only issue was the hotel WIFI, was kind-of laggy…which this would be me nitpicking. Overall experience though was amazing. Next year when we come back, we will be definitely staying at this hotel. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

I urge anyone considering a stay here to think twice. My experience has been a nightmare. Here with my one-year-old due to a power outage at home, I was shocked by the blatant disregard for guests’ needs. The coin laundry requires four dollars in quarters ($4 to wash and $4 to dry), and when I asked the front desk to charge my room for the ONE dollar I lacked, they flat-out refused, ignoring the fact that I needed clean scrubs for my nursing shift and clean clothes for my baby….
To top it off, at 3 AM, a group of loud, drunk guests outside of our room smoking made it impossible to sleep. Despite multiple complaints, the staff failed to enforce their own quiet hours policy. It took three calls to the front desk for them to admit they couldn’t control the situation and I was told “there’s nothing we can really do about it”.
This hotel completely fails to care for its guests. Basic customer service is nonexistent. I will never return and strongly warn others to avoid this place.
