Fit for a Mughal Emperor

Ask anyone the Taj Mahal is unique and the story behind how it came into existence moving. Now how does a hotel overlooking such an amazing monument try and match this splendour? It does so through the unique blend of Oberoi’s culture of only the highest in guest services with a property which not only boasts tantalising views of the Taj itself but with facilitated which of their own make this a destination hotel fit for an emperor.

The gem of India

We stayed at the Oberoi hotel in Agra, our every whim was taken care of by the hotel staff from the second we arrived, the staff that went above and beyond for us. We loved the amazing food, gorgeous rooms and the beautiful special added touches to our room and meals. They had wonderful suggestions, made sure we tried local goods. The hotel had the most charming grounds, we loved walking and exploring. I truly loved my time here and even had a wonderful time exploring the Taj Mahal which I could see from our room, that is the most beautiful at sunrise.

Trip of a lifetime

This hotel is absolutely amazing. The views of Taj Mahal directly from the hotel are stunning. I spent my 65th birthday celebrations here and had dinner on the balcony over looking Taj Mahal. The staff are wonderful and they made my stay very special. I have never felt so pampered. The trip to Taj Mahal both early morning and at sunset could never be explained in words. You feel very emotional when you first see it. I stayed at various Oberoi hotels in India throughout my trip and every one of them though different were exceptional. The key theme is the wonderful staff who just can't do enough for you. There is amazing food available to suit all tastes. I just wish I had stayed longer. I have travelled to many places worldwide but I doubt anything will ever exceed this trip. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Amazing experience

The hotel is fantastic. Best option if you want to visit Taj Mahal. Impressive views from the room. The staff is also super professional and friendly.
Our guide Talib Khan was the best!! He has a lot of history knowledge and he is super kind and professional. He is the best photographer also!!

Perfection at every turn.

Quite simply everything was perfect and every member of staff friendly, efficient and welcoming.
Beautiful pool and spa, wonderful food in both speciality restaurants, probably the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, could find no fault with anything- except we didn’t want to leave.
