Beautiful location. Wonderful hotel, Really friendly helpful staff
And just liked the look of it from the photographs. I still cant quite believe just how wonderful our trip was, especially as my daughter has now left home to study abroad This was a special trip for the two of us to just relax and enjoy each others company.
From we walked into the foyer and out into the beautiful grounds we were captivated.
The hotel sits in an elevated position overlooking the mountains . There are flowers, trees, and vines everywhere you look . The room was spotless as was the whole hotel,.we had a wonderful veranda with a view of the mountains.
Breakfast included in the price was really good there was even a choice for two vegans like ourselves .
Everyone told us vegan options would be hard but actually the hotel tried their best and we had a lovely pasta tomato meal a couple of nights and there were plentiful fruit choices fresh salads and cereals breads etc.
We were intending to go to Cava De Tirreni on the local bus .however it was so hot we stayed at the hotel all 5 days relaxing and just taking in the beautiful views. Our one trip was to the cathedral close by . You really must go and visit it. You can get a guided tour, it's honestly amazing with a lift down to medieval and roman catacombs, the tour guide explained all the amazing history of the building in English and Italian. There was only myself, my daughter and an Italian couple taking the tour for the grand sum of 3 euros each. Just outside the hotel is a tiny little shop With a great friendly American guy called Roger running it . We got some nice little presents for taking home here and some picnic food. there is a small potters shop and a lovely little art gallery worth a visit as well.
We definitely want to return here again . It has a really special place in our hearts ! One of the best holidays we have had especially for our first visit to Italy.

Location a bit 'unknown to visit Salerno and with access to the hotel on foot because you have to park at the end of the street.
Varied breakfast with normal and not typical local products
The room to us given was dated, bathroom small and not renovated, medium large room but with beds also dated, as well as the air conditioner

Mountains' experience
Staff, service, food, bar all is good. I will recommend to visit in summer as well, while there is open pool. The garden can be used for nice events.

4 stars? Well, no!
The only thing good was the terrace with a view.
Apparently we were sitting above the kitchen smelling all the smells.
Shower in the bath, with a screen that was not properly caulked, so lots of water next to it.
The television hung terribly high, not really a logical place.
The bed was too hard.
The 2nd morning at breakfast most tables were already set for dinner and during our breakfast the tables and chairs next to us were already shifted for a long dinner table. Didn't really feel welcome and reasonably get in the way.
