Beautiful property in the city center

B&B very close to the centre, facing the sea, splendid view, very convenient for visiting Salerno and the Luci d'Artista. The quadruple room is huge and very beautiful, with two small terraces overlooking the sea. The shower was beautiful and the host who welcomed us upon arrival was very kind. The only flaw is the breakfast, not very rich and with packaged products. The coffee machine didn't work well and perhaps should be replaced

Beautiful B&B in the center of Salerno

B&B D'Angleterre is located in an excellent location in the historic center of Salerno.
The building is historic, with large courtyards and interiors decorated with wood and marble.
The B&B is located on the first floor (an elevator is available) and offers large rooms furnished with beautiful period furniture.
Our room had a double bed with a really comfortable mattress, there was a small balcony overlooking a crowded street in the center but, thanks to the thick glass, once the windows were closed the room became super quiet.
In the room there was also a small fridge and a large flat TV.
The bathroom is small but well finished and clean.
At guests' disposal there is an equipped kitchen where in the morning it is possible to consume an "industrial" breakfast with packaged and not fresh foods, perhaps the only small flaw of the accommodation.
At the entrance there is, under a protective case, a beautiful historical nativity scene.
The location is excellent for exploring the city, the car can be left in one of the nearby paid car parks (such as the LIBERATA car park 9' walk from the B&B).
The owner of the house was also very helpful and friendly.

Mario was a gracious host, meeting us at the apartment when we arrived early. The apt is beautiful in a classic building, one street from the water (Tyrrhenian Sea). It was also very clean and well appointed, more attractive than the photos. Great to walk around this area anytime of the day or evening - with many wonderful shops and restaurants.

Mario was an excellent host, came to give us access to the place right away when we call him, the room is beautiful, very big and very well maintained, breakfast was good, we definitely recommend this place, close to everything, excellent location!!! Thanks Mario!
