Good location and decent price
The room was spacious according to japanese standards, clean and comfy. The price was very decent for this type of room and hotel.
The location in tenmonkan is very good, with good access to the shopping district, Harbour park and ferry to Sakurajima in walking distance. It’s near a tram station where you can go to Kagoshima-Chuo Station (also not far by walk).
There was a little problem at the check in. I was on time but the room wasn’t ready, and I had to wait for 30 minutes.

An old hotel with good maintenance
They did employ staff who could speak fluent english or chinese in the concierge.

Great location - excellent rooms
The hotel is situated very close to the restaurant & nightlife districts and 2 tram stops are 5 minutes walk away.
The rooms are very modern and well maintained.The hotel has a good range of facilities including a very nice buffet breakfast (Japanese and western) at the ground floor restaurant.
This would have to be the best value-for-money hotel I have stayed in during my travels to Japan.
