Nice hotel in good location to explore.
Not far from Mount Cook. It’s a good road and we drove it several times (but do check its open if the weather turns).
Not a posh hotel, but good size room. Hotel restaurant didn’t look special, but you can walk over the road and there are plenty of options (they’ll help you with booking if its busy period too - helpful staff).

Good amenities provided - kitchenette, dish washer, coffee maker, utensils, washing machine and wifi connection. No mirror cast available at TV - it’s connected to Sky cable TV programmes.
Unfortunately, we did not find the bed comfortable - bedroom is too small for both of us. Limited car park lots.

Don’t take any notice of the negative reviews
We needn’t have worried at all. Our welcome on arrival was delightful and when we reached our apartments - oh boy - what a treat
This place is spotless with everything needed when travelling around this beautiful country - space, beautiful kitchen, great bathroom, washing and drying facilities in the apartment too, just perfect
We enjoyed great views of the Lake from our balcony
Everybody was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay enormously
Don’t bother with all the negative reviews, some people just like to moan

Modern, well decorated three bedrooms unit
The kitchen is well equipped, living room with big tv and wide range of tv channels,
This is my second stay, where my first stay was ten years ago in 2015 for my honeymoon. And this resort has been my choice, and it has been a good story to share with my kids that their parents brought them back to the hotel they stayed during their honeymoon
Hope to come back again
