To come back

We fell into this hostel by chance since our campervan broke down in Queenstown and we needed accommodation to spend the night.
And we are very happy with the luck we had to find this place.
Very close to the center, about 5 minutes walk, very clean and safe, with good facilities.
They even had a small Spa that we did not enjoy due to lack of time, but if we returned to this city we would definitely repeat.

Disappointing sleeping experience

On the whole not a terrible experience, the pricing was fair and facilities were good. The main criticism is that it’s a bit of a lottery with the bunk bed system…if you get a top bunk you’re chilling but if you get unlucky with the bottom you have all of about 30cm of vertical space. You have to hunch over to sit on the bed and can’t sit up higher than about a 45deg angle without smacking your head on the bunk above. I only stayed for 5 night so made do with it but I wouldn’t be happy if I stayed for a week+ with a bottom bunch when someone who payed the same price has a much better experience.

Good place to stay.

Good place to stay. Only 5 minutes away from city centre. Comfortable beds. I've seen complaints about the place being noisy, but that was not a problem during the 5 nights I stayed. There's a sauna as well as a spa pool you can use. Internet was excellent and staff was friendly.

Only stay if you can deal with unbearable noise!

Seemed like a lovely place to stay. Which on first impressions it was. Friendly staff, lovely communal areas however when we weren’t able to fall asleep by 3am the deafening noise from the toilets nearly drove us mad. We were in a private couples room next to the toilets on the first floor. The ladies toilet down the corridor had a awfully loud fan which turned on when the light was on. Trying to sleep was impossible, even with wax earplugs. Hopefully they fix this problem but it was unbearable.
